I purchased an extra RV chasis remote control as a backup to open/close the driver/passenger doors, but the remote control doesn't work. Called Thor Parts department asking for any setup instruction.
The parts guy told me they have no information, I have to contact the vendor "Nansung(?)", when I asked how to contact them, he said I can find it on internet, then hung up on me. I had to call Thor Parts the second time for the spelling, in the middle of my sentence, they hung up on me. No more questions allowed.
Called again and they transferred me to their Technical Service department, T/S told me the RV allows only one remote control, not any more, and is positive about that, doesn't know why their parts department sold me another one. CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT? When I question that, T/S took 5 more minutes to told me I will receive the instruction how to pair the remote to my RV.
One thing obvious is when you call Thor customer services, it never states "All calls will be recorded for quality improvement purposes." The staff there not only don't know how to do their job, they also lie about things they don't know. Their management is horrible and don't care.
Very frustrated with Thor's Customer Services and their attitude.
