2023 Thor Miramar 35.2 chassis battery exhibits slow drain when plugged into shore power. Should shore power be maintaining the chassis battery ? When initially parked and plugged in it read 12.8, over the course of a few weeks, it has reduced down to 12.3. Yes, I know some things will slowly drain it, like the Ford data sharing (it sent me a message that it had disabled itself to not further drain the battery). My only question is: should shore power charge the chassis battery ?

Yes.

Go to the Thor Owners Resource Website and create an account with your VIN and you will have access to all the manuals, drawings, tutorials, etc for your MH.

In my Tellaro, it doesn't- no BIM or bi-directional charging in that model after 2022. So I added an onboard trickle charger. I don't know the Miramar setup, so hopefully another owner will chime in...
If you have lithium coach batteries, might need a Li-BIM unit and wire it in- but can be tricky, esp. if you have an e-start solenoid.
You can add a DCDC charger, trickle charger, or BIM, depending on your setup- def. go to owner's resource page in Thor website and download all docs for your year and model, make a binder and get to know the electrical system before adding anything.
Another resource is a marina tech.
Good luck!
