I have made this upgrade in the last couple of RVs I have had. My friends keep telling me I should share the idea so I made a YouTube video of the whole mod.

Here's the shortened, text version.

The little fans that come in your standard roof vent are pretty unpleasant and ineffective. If you don't want to drop some serious coin on a dedicated vent replacement, you can swap out those horrible little bumble bee units for a more efficient and effective PC vent fan. Believe me, you will like the improvement.
The original fan, burning 6 amps and sounding off at about 77 decibels and not moving much air that I can tell.

The PC fan is much larger, burns less than an amp and moves 100 cfm producing abut 55 decibels

Original fan specs - there's no way this thing moves 190 cfm!

How old is this?
My '18 Axis's vents have fan blades that are practically edge to edge, not that skimpy little fan shown in the video.

We have a nice, full vent fan in the bedroom but the bathroom and living room fans are the old style. Those are the ones I upgraded to a PC fan. If you have full-vent fans on every roof vent, you are doing great!

I was holding the decibel meter pretty close to the fan. You can hardly tell the computer fans are running unless you concentrate and listen for them.

Whatever brand fan you choose. Any modern brushless motor fan is going to me much quieter than the stock units.

Thanks for the feedback.

I have a 2023 Axis. The fan in the bedroom is a nice, unit that covers the whole roof vent but the roof vents in the bathroom and kitchen area are the skimpy ones.

I hate to be wrong, but I forgot to look at my bathroom vent fan.
It, and that alone, has the puny fan!

Time for an upgrade on that one. I turn the one on in my bathroom if I get up in the middle of the night and don't want to use the main lights.

Thanks for sharing! My '02 Chateau has different vent assemblies installed and the one in the bathroom has a seized-up fan with a broken fan blade, which is useless in it's current state.
Those bigger fans are nice and they look like I might be able to 'fabri-cobble' one in-place of the old froze-up, shaded pole poc that's in there now.
Problem is, I have to remove the entire inner escutcheon trim piece. And at that point, I might as well replace the entire vent assy --- You got me thinkin tho! Ya see, I'm "frugal" like you.

The controller works on Incandescent lights also.
I have a similar fan on my sad little bathroom fan(like the op's) but controller install was for the remote control.

'Her shortness' that lives with me screamed like a smashed cat because she couldn't reach the switch that is on the fan housing itself.
