Trying to do My front and rear CHF today in the cool weather here. As I loosen the bolts they seem to have alot of pressure or weight on them? Any ideas? Also do you need to loosen the torsion bar to align for the new fit? You tube was no help in my situation.

All sway bars should have pressure on them any time vehicle isn't perfectly level. That applies to all vehicles.

And by level it doesn't mean the motorhome's body is level due to leveling jacks while parked on uneven surface (just in case that's not clear). That would leave suspension partially and unevenly compressed, and therefore with sway bars under load.

Use a jack to take off the pressure to get them loose. Then when you bolt them back, bolt in the side which is higher first so you can use the jack to raise the lower side up to reach the hole in the tie-rod from the frame.

Thanks for the help! the jack did the trick. CHF complete front and rear, appointment on 08/02 for alignment and to have Safe T Plus installed.
