I have a quick question about the steps going into and out of the motor home.
I have a 2016 Outlaw 37RB and I was wondering if there is a way to keep the steps from going out when you open the door to the motor home?
I am wondering if it is possible for them to stay in because is the winter time I am wanting to put a skirt around my motor home and it will be easier if the steps stayed in and I can put temporary sets in its place to get into and out of the motor home.
Thanks for any and all help.

Quickly thinking and not knowing what your step switch does, I think disconnecting the power to the step while retracted would achieve your desired result. It would probably take about 4 minutes to test. I would make sure you cover both end of that electrical connections to protect them from the elements if that is what you go with.

The RVs I've had use a small magnetic switch on the door frame to tell the stairs to go in or out (open the door - steps go out, close door - steps go in).

I wonder if you could either disconnect power at that switch or trick it by putting a small piece of steel on the switch so it thinks the door is closed?
