We have a 2024 Gemini 23TW. There is a TV above the door and the Winegard is directly above that. There is a hole through the top and two cable come down. The gray one is the RF signal to devices like the TV and the black cable is the power (white is ground, orange or yellow is 12 VDC).
By removing the TV you can access these wires and add a switch to power the Winegard down when you are storing your motorhome. In this forum there are pages of folks talking about finding a way to power down the Winegard to keep their house battery up. I did not do this change for that reason, I did it to isolate the Winegard router from my local routers. This may be something you would like to do.
How to remove the TV. Reach behind the TV and pull on the two release handles, then lift the TV up and pull it forward. You will find an HDMI, power, and TV signal coax connected. You can disconnect these or in the TW case just set the TV on the counter.
You only need to switch the 12 VDC wire with any type of on/off switch. I used a 1/4 in electronics style switch mounted on a L bracket. It is hidden behind the TV but is easy to reach it to switch. Keep in mind when the Winegard switches back on it will take a bit of time to startup completely.
Lastly the power comes from the fuse box and is down around fuse #6. If you solder your wires like I did you will need to isolate your soldering iron to keep it from shorting the 12 VDC to ground. Or pull the fuse, or drop all the power in the MH.
