Hi. I have a 2017 Thor Miramar 37.1. I have four in series 6 volt batteries for the 12 volt system. The new converter I am looking at has settings for volts, 13, 14.6, and 16.5. My thoughts would be 14.6. But I don’t want to over charge my batteries.

What kind of batteries do you have, FLAs, AGMs, Li ? It makes all the difference in charging voltage.

BTW, I suspect your four 6V batteries are wired series/parallel to produce 12V nominally.

And finally any converter that only has fixed voltages for charging, isn’t a very good one IMO.

My thought would be 14.6 as well, but I assume there are other settings: such as battery type?

And your four 6 volt batteries are in a mixed series/parallel configuration. If they were all in series, you would have a 24 volt battery bank.

Or it allows for both? My PD has a remote so if I wanted to (I never had a need) I could could put at constant charge voltage and that voltage is determined by the microprocessor which is 13.6

But as I stated on OP other thread the Lithium Profile has 2 stages and his FLA will use 3 stages.

May help if the OP shares exactly which model he intends to buy, because how may amps the the converter puts out is also a factor in the equation.

For something that it is so essential to the basic function of the RV, I would not go for lowest price from any vendor, but best capability model at the lowest price from who sells that model because we are only talking maybe $100 difference in pricing?

Thanks for the info, it’s a Pro-Rec converter, I am looking at. I have flooded acid batteries.

Lead-acid, AGM, SLA, wet cell, 12V batteries etc., require 13.6V to charge
Li-ion, LFP (LiFePO4) use 14.6V to charge.

So I would select 13V for yours as they are lead-acid configuration, or 12.6V resting. 13V is not quite enough, but 14.6V is too much.
I'd consider replacing it with a Progressive Dynamics converter, as I have found them to be one of the best. Just select for the type of battery you have.
