Cracked DEF fill Line

I recently did some Genny maintenance and while squirming around under the Omni XG32, I noticed a good deal of crystallization build up on top of the def tank. Took the Omni to a local RV center today for a diagnosis. I'm told there appears to be a crack in the fill line near the connection to the tank and the estimate came in at $762 to replace the line. Service writer said this includes 3 hrs of labor and is a rather involved job.
Has anyone here done this repair themselves and could tell me what's involved.
I'm considering attempting this myself and hope to understand the process before deciding.

I have done it on a few heavy duty ford trucks, never a motorhome, replacing the fill line would basically require removing the def tank to have access to the back of the fill spout, but requires unhooking both the feed and return lines from the def pump, and they have plastic squeeze locks and electrical connectors for the line heaters and also coolant lines that are used to heat the tank in cold weather, maybe you can get lucky and just tighten the clamp.

Thanks for those details. I was assuming there is more to this than simply detaching and attaching a rubber hose. I'll try to squeeze myself under there to verify the line is actually split vs loose. If it needs replacing I'll let the shop do it
