Dc help furnace

I have a Thor wanderer 2001 model and the wire leaving my dc voltage board has a short can someone please tell me it’s path and where it runs to ?? At first my panel was blowing 15 amp fuses like crazy and I troubleshot it and it all came down to one wire that has become direct grounded ,if anyone can tell me where this wire is headed and ends up it would be much appreciated I’m no camper specialist but I am an ex electrician with many years under my belt it has just been a long time and I am new to these fifth wheels and cannot afford to hire someone to fix something I can I just need a little help with knowing where and what path this wire goes and ends up at thanks !!!!!!

Will be much appreciated if someone can help me out.

12 volt dc to power control circuit. Used by Fridge, WH, Furnace. Also range hood exhaust fan.

Yes I know it is used by all of those but my problem is a direct short in the furnace wire I need to know where it runs to without tearing whole trailer apart.

I unhooked the red wire leaving the fuse box which controls furnace/ A/C and put fuses back in everything is working properly now but no furnace because I have the wire disconnected because it was a direct short other words has a grounding issue.

If you have the furnace disconnected just outside of where the wire goes into the unit then the short is on the furnace control board. Inside the unit and very hard to get to.

I’m wandering if my dad might have screwed a screw into the thermostat wires or something because all was working fine until he decided to hang a shelf on the wall in the main bedroom on the opposite side of bathroom wall yesterday morning because all was fine until he decided to play mr Carpenter???

I did unscrew the screws but it still could have shorted some wires isn’t that possible ? I’m not sure how they ran the thermostat wires in this trailer all I can do I guess is open the wall up and see if that is what he actually done??

We've used 2"X2" mirrors in a diamond pattern to cover small repair holes.
Really looks good in the bath.

1 1/2" hole, wire clothes hanger, pull the wire out, fix. Or splice new section on, remove AC vents to find damaged wire, test, replace section, test, reinstall vent, glue mirrors over holes.

12v wire repair is usually (yea sure) pretty easy good luck and let us know.

Like I said. IF you have it disconnected at the furnace entry the problem is within the furnace. Where did you disconnect the furnace 12 volts.

Did you disconnect 12 volt power or t-stat wires?

12v at circuit board at the main power is all I disconnected and it is showing a ground I believe you are right about the heater circuit board shorting I have a guy coming to look at it.
