Just starting a thread to hopefully expand everyone's' knowledgebase on some new Forum software features that may or may not be obvious. Feel free to add to it as you see fit.

We'll start with something often requested on the old software: a post "LIKE" ability. You can't "like" your own post but you should see the Thumbs Up "Like" Icon/Button to the bottom right of every post. Just clicking that button adds your "Like" to the post.
BUT if you hover over the Icon/Button you can choose from 7 different responses:

From left to right you can click on: Like, Thanks, Love, HaHa, Wow, Sad, and Care.
Hovering the mouse over each Icon opens an explanation bubble:

Clicking the Icon inserts your reaction.

The post's author will be notified of your reaction and it will be visible at the bottom of the post.

"But Ted, What if I don't like a post and in general, don't like the poster's "attitude" or the way they post?"

Theis Forum also has the ability to provide general FEEDBACK about an individual poster (but not individual posts),.
Almost everyone here right now has a ZERO feedback score. The feedback was originally meant for Buyer/Seller transactions but there is a General Feedback choice as well.
If you hover over a User's Icon in the left column you will get a pop-up window with some details about the User. Many things are "clickable" in this window with the Feedback to the right. Click on the score and you will go to the User's Feedback details page where you can "Post Feedback" on the right.

Scroll all the way to the bottom to post General Feedback.

The User will be notified about the feedback post.

Good info! Thanks for using me as an example...
(I used to say I was the perfect example of a poor example. I'm at 1 now! )
I just tried 'hovering' over the score stats and it works!

Ignoring:

Ignoring other posters has been around for decades, probably since the dial-in Bulletin Board days - nothing new in that regard.
And in this Forum it's easy to do with a simple mouse hover over any user's profile pic.

But did you know you can ignore an entire thread now? Upper RH corner of any thread is the Thread Ignore button:

Right next to the Unwatch button which can be used to stop notifications about new posts in that thread.
Click that Ignore and Confirm the action and you won't have to see that drivel again. Not even in the New Posts area or the What's New tab.

You can also remove an entire area of the Forum from expanding on the Forums tab with a hard to see button:
For example; if you're a TT or 5th wheel RVer and don't give a rip about MH RVs at this time you can slide that button to the right and, WaLa; outta sight, outta mind:

Poster's Information:

By hovering your mouse over a poster's avatar you can get a snapshot of information.

And the RED underlined items are hot links to that poster's content.

If you then click on the poster's avatar in that info window, you can get even more information about the poster; such as:
Location: which is a hot link to search for that location in Google Maps
RV Info: In case they forget to add it in a post question.
And various other info if the poster has filled out that information in their Profile.
