One of the other topics contained a couple of references to names given to their Redwood coach, so we thought it appropriate for a new topic.

What is your Redwood called and what is the history behind the name.

We will start - Oriana

Having just embarked on a RV'ing and retirement lifestyle, we wanted something that related to where we met. We met onboard SS Oriana, a P&O/Princess ship. Judi was a passenger bound for Sydney Australia and I was a lowly Navigating Cadet.

We call ours "THE COACH".
We called it a trailer and we were promptly informed by the salesperson that it was a "Coach", so the name stuck.

Somebody asked me about a year ago, what the difference was between a coach and a RV. The answer is simple......COST

Working name so far is "Xanadu".

BTW, we're headed for Oak Hill, NY this Wednesday to Grey Fox Bluegrass Festival. Five days of dry camping and temps in the 90's! But we're excited about the trip none the less.

We call ours PRESSHA (pressure with a New England accent) because it Big and Heavy.. Our truck is UNDRPSI (under & PSI - pounds per square inch). This plate I kept after I sold my Ford Lightning that it was on. I named the Lightning this because of the supercharger (factory) but I was running just under 20 pounds of boost. Figured it would transfer over to the Duramax with the diesel turbo. So we figured it worked PRESSHA sits over and behind UNDRPSI.
