Has anyone disabled their awning to keep it out with the sunshade on?

We are in a spot for a while and I want to leave our awning out and the full suze sunshade attached. I can sintch down the awning manually, I figure and it's no less safe, maybe moreso.

Also, the shade adds protection from golf balls.

There is a fuse for the awning I can pull.
Has anyone tried this? Main concern is fuse wouldn't disable the auto retract, just control at the relay....other concern is having the awning get stuck unfurled.
Thanks!

Many discussions about this. Consensus is to install you own switch to disable the awning power. Removing the fuse does the same thing and DOES disable auto-retract.

Thanks. I may just remove the fuse for now if we need the sunshade again and it gets breezy. Had big gusts last week and had to stow everything anyway.
