Does anyone know if you can move your Dish receiver, that you already own, from the house and use it in the trailer. I was told that this fall by the dealer from which I bought my Winegard Mini-Max satellite antenna, that I could do that. I haven't actually tried out the system yet although the idea seemed plausible to me. I am planning on trying out the idea in the spring when I take my Redwood out of winter storage.

Yes, but you may not get your local channels. Local channels are broadcast on a spot beam, which covers a smaller geographic area, usually within a couple of hundred miles of your home location.

Hoosierguy,

I forgot to ask you, how does your dodge handle you redwood? like in the mountains.

Thanks Again

When we still had sticks and bricks, we had two 622 boxes. One stayed in the house one in the 5er. We simply needed to fax the RV registration to Dish and the CSR set us up so the box in the RV was authorized to get locals where ever we were.
