My wife wants me to add a "Fingerprint I.D." Drawer safe to our Class A so she can take her S&W 9-mil along for protection. Does anyone include firearm protection when they travel?
Maybe I do... maybe I don't. For someone who breaks into our motorhome in the middle of the night... "Do you feel lucky?" It's called "concealed carry" for a reason.

Question you did not ask, but prolly should be your main concern. No the laws of the State you are traveling in. I am in Texas and I have have concealed license from the beginning and some states would honor my Texas Concealed License, now no license is required in Texas so what happens when I go to Ohio? I don't know, but if I carry a gun there concealed in a safe or not, I better find out 1st.
FWIW, I don't think anyone is upset? Just straight talk.

What You Should Know About Traveling With Firearms In Your RV
I would rather be alive to be prosecuted

Better to be judged by 12 then carried by 6
If it's in a safe inaccessible to the drive it's not concealed. You can transport a firearm through all 48 contiguous states; but you better know the definition of "through".

shot guns are not a problem anywhere. Might make a mess of the RV. I travel in places that we have both. The right tool for the right situation and remember never shot a large caliber criminal with a small caliber round.
I couldn't risk using a firearm that may mess up the wax job on my RV. I prefer this Patriot Missile launcher inspired RV.

It is permissible in all states. The neat thing about traveling with a Missile Launcher versus a Shot gun is deterrence, but if required; no evidence is left.
