Dometic Refrigerator repair

Dometic refrigerator works with propane but has quit working on electric. Have checked the wires, plug and fuses and did have to replace one fuse. Ordered and installed a new Circuit Control Board and neither the propane or electric worked. Anyone else have this problem?

Did you check the 120 VAC heating element? And it's outlet/breaker?

yes, and the Check on the refrigerator keeps beeping.

I think you need to go back and check the electric heating element.
1) disconnect the electric element and measure resistance (does the value make sense)
2) using a "megger" measure the elements resistance to ground at the lowest setting (normally the test voltage is set to 200% of the working voltage).
3) If both pass then reconnect and measure the voltage across the heating element
These tests should find the problem.
