Good afternoon,

I want to install a ducted range vent in my 2021 Thor Outlaw 29s.

Right now, I only have a nice piece of metal attached below the microwave to stop the steam from rising up to the microwave cabinet floor.

In the attached photo, the black metal is displayed with the

disk light in it.

Right now, there is no range vent. We need to turn on the ceiling exhaust fan near the stove to remove the steam, smoke and grease.

My issue is that there is a window directly outside the stovetop.

I only have about 2 inches for the range vent.

My question is: has anyone figured out a solution to this issue?

I was wondering if a diverter could be attached to the back side of the range vent to allow the wall vent to be raised up about 5 inches to avoid contact with the window.

I suppose that I could always build the vent back away from the wall a few inches to allow more space and run the diverter to run behind the microwave.
