Your missing a piece of U channel that the window manufacturer glues to the glass. You can buy a small piece of U channel one side attaches to glass the other side You will have to cut the side off leaving only two pieces sticking up for the latches to grab line it up and use J B weld 2 part epoxy to attach to glass. I've been lucky I had to reattach mine an 1 of my crank out windows, the 2 arms that push the window in and out are attached to a piece of metal thats glued to the glass the same way. I called the glass company, they said they only sell all new glass with metal channels attached, no parts and very expensive. A piece of aluminum channel is probably $5 and J B Weld $10.

So that kit does not work. The one I posted.

By any chance can you send a photo of it

Thank you very much.

Does it matter that it's a seamless frame.?

Yours should never open an emergency window except in an emergency.
With that said;
If that kit won't work and you're not handy enough to build that piece of channel,
I'd be for siliconing the window shut.
A stout thump and it'll open in an emergency.

But
I'm kinda a 80% guy so the punctilious amongst us may faint from this suggestion.

Thank you. That's a hell of an idea. I never really thought about silicone. At least that will work for a temporary fix.
seems like that Piece has been missing for several months. I've never noticed since it's in the back restroom

That window has special latches that are actually attached to the glass frame. I have a 2017 Thor Miramar. I called Thor they gave me the name of the window company. If you want to do it right. The entire window glass portion needs to be replaced. The safety latches are attached to the bottom area of the glass, all one piece. Easy job window just slights off top outside frame. If you contact window company send them multiple pictures.

Good luck

If I can find contact info. I will post.

One more thing, before you call glass window company , have Thor give you the part number for your specific emergency window with last 8 of vin number.

I did contact thor .
I was told that I would have to buy the whole window(Vin was given)

2018 miramar....that would be great if you had that number..

When I replaced my window. I bought entire window. $200 . I tried to attach latching brackets with glue-silicone never held up.

If you can get Thor to tell you part number, and phone number to deal directly with window company.

Thank you....so how did you attach it.

Going to see if that base bracket I posted will work as well..it's only 25.00 to ship to so cal.

Looks like it might latch to bottom of glass...kindle hard to tell on ad

I'm trying to figure out how to attach pictures but your latches are fine you just need a piece of aluminum channel and cut al little off each side of the latches and attach channel to glass the notches will allow the latches to grab the channel then push do on front of latch and it will pull glass in and hold it.

Look at black bar attached to glass.

THANKS ACE. I used J B Weld 2 part epoxy to attach aluminum channel to glass 2 years ago still holding. Everything else i tried would hold until it got sunny and 90 degrees then whatever I used would get gummy and pull away from glass. JB WELD will NOT come off.

I think we have forgotten to warn you:
On many to most emergency windows if you push it open past about 20° it will fall off of the top mounts and crash to the ground(by design).

Be prepared for potential disaster.
