All, I was able to walkthrough a preordered 2022 Entegra Launch 4X4 built on the Mercedes 144 Platform.

They say coping is the sincerest form of flattery ... This is so close to the Winnebago Revel that it is hard to know which is the real Revel and which is the wannabe.

The one built by Thor will be the one at the dealer or factory service center getting repaired. The one built by Winnebago will be covered in dust and mud while parked in a dispersed camping area some were out west.

The Mercedes platform is great and will keep these RV on the road ... as for the quality of the interior, only time will tell.

This is not my preferred layout ... but it is popular.

Thor isn’t building one. Entegra is the builder, not Thor.

Again, someone confusing Thor Motor Coach and the many operating units of Thor Industries.

With MSRP ~ $217,000, will be a shock for those who shop by the cubic feet. ;)

Looks well built, at least as well as details can appear on a video, but the narrowness of Sprinter van permeates through design, and not in a good way in my opinion. :nonono:

The rear bump outs that allow sleeping East-West (transversely) requires bed to be lowered all the way, and it appears in video that there would not be enough room beneath for a couple of mountain bikes. Does that mean off-loading bikes to use bed?

The bed in up position doesn’t leave much room to stand below — would require most men to bend over a lot. Not really an extension of living space even if garage was mostly empty.

Also, with bed in full up position, does it block air conditioner from working, or does bed have to be lowered first — at least partially?

No microwave in kitchen is very rare for USA — something I’ve only noticed regularly in European motorhomes. I’d have to pack one in garage.

Also because of Sprinter narrowness, upper cabinets are small. Other than large garage area, there is little storage space. I’m OK with that, but will add inconvenience getting to stuff.

Seems could be a good fit for buyers interested mostly in primitive camping, minus the tent. :thumb:

I will admit, this layout is not my favorite for a Mercedes 144 and with a price tag similar or higher than the Revel I am not sure people will chose this over the Revel.

Can you describe. Do you RV with other people, dogs etc. I have walked thru these Class B units and wonder how you RV with 3 people and pets, and not find it a little cramped?
