Factory Radio

Good afternoon,

I have a stock Ford radio that works fine except for android auto. When I try to connect through USB cable, I get a message that it is looking for an approved device. All the settings are correct. The dealer keeps telling me they can't find any issues. I have used multiple cables from other vehicles. It has a mind of its own sometimes it connects sometimes it doesn't. Ford doesn't show an upgrade and neither does an audio shop. I'm looking for options or suggestions.

Thor didn't swap out the factory radio for one of their vendors' radios?

I don't know if it was swapped. I called Thor and they said the radio was from Ford.

Well, historically Thor usually swaps out the factory radio in Class C RVs. Check your build sheet or create an account at Thor Owners Resource website with your VIN and see what/if they replaced it with.

Ford doesn't show an upgrade and neither does an audio shop. I'm looking for options or suggestions.

Find another audio shop or, if handy, but what you like and install yourself.
There are literally 100's to choose from.
