Hi All,

I have a 2023 Thor Outlaw with a Firefly G12 that shows incorrect battery voltage. It always shows a couple of tenths of a volt lower than actual and with all the lights on and furnace running, it shows 11.8v when its actually 12.5 measured at the batteries with no shore power connected. 12.4 v at the battery disconnect and 12.2 at the panel itself.

In many cases the difference is caused by a voltage drop because adequate gauge wire hasn't been used for the length of the run.

When you measure at the battery, you are getting the true battery voltage. But the FireFly is reporting the values it is reading after all of the wiring runs.

When I did a Lithium conversion on my Magnitude, I installed a Victron SmartShunt that was mounting next to the batteries and with the proper size wiring. I used the Bluetooth app to get the most accurate voltage readings as well as power usage and capacity.
