Just wanted to say hello to all who I have been learning from. Just purchased our first rv, a 2015 four winds 24c with 1600 miles and 13 hrs on the gen. Only problem I have found so far is the main water drain must be kinked somewhere, it will take weeks to drain the tank as slow as it runs. Going to make a height label for the dash today to remind me to keep from taking out the AC and vents.

Welcome and congrats on your new camper. You may find that some plastic shavings are clogging your drain as I have found some in the intake side of my my water pump filter and other areas. I don't think they clean the drill chips out of the tank before installation.

Welcome and good luck. I have a similar issue with the fresh water tank drain on my 2014 Hurricane 34E. First, the drain valve is under the bed where the tank is stored. The water is very slow to drain. For me, the work around is to turn on the pump and pump the water out using the outside shower. The tank drains in minutes. Might work on your rig.

If your 24C has the petcock drain on the side like my 26C there is no kink. The only way to drain the fresh water any faster is to upgrade the petcock.
