**** YEAH!!!!!

It's simply not acceptable not to have some type of moderation of these forums.

I'm just getting started.

.......stay tuned.

All right lets get radical.!!!!! Seriously are there any constructive thoughts on how to get this company to show some concern and respect? Are we just consumers and this is the "NewDeal"

OK you forced my hand. We ALL should email corporate at
info@crossroadsrv.com and voice our concerns about this forum in a proper manner.

If we all start to email them maybe, maybe, they'll respond to our concerns.

Better yet, go join the Redwood forum and start complaining over there. At least they have a forum administrator who oddly enough use to be one on here. Maybe that would get their attention. Nothing else seems to be working. This is the only forum I am a member of where the users are on their own.

I believe Keith might have a good idea here. They have the same guy as a moderator/administrator working the Redwood forum as who is "suppose" to be working the CrossRoads forum. I would think he would definitely see all the posts and complaints there. Might even get a little heat from the Redwood members.

Or you can go Mark's route and send them an email here--
info@crossroadsrv.com

Or, this is the gut that is suppose to be monitoring our forum. You "all" could send him a PM.

All great ideas. Something has to be done.

This is getting, or shall I say IS, ridiculous.

It appears someone got through to them. Brad was on the forum about 15 minutes ago and at least got rid of the lastest round of SPAM.

I reported the latest round of spam last night using the report function.don't know if that's what got him back on here. I have sent pm and emails before to no avail.

Apparently,we were giving old bplunkett more credit for doing his job, then he deserved

.
Common sense tells you that you have to ban the spammer just as well as deleting the crap they post.

Crossroads either needs to have someone dedicated to maintaining this forum or give a couple of users at least enough rights to delete spam and spammers.

Give a few select members the power to not only delete spam, but ban spammers. I moderate a group on Yahoo and you have to give me your name, email address and reason for wanting to join. Missing any of this information and your request goes into the trash. If I get all I ask for, your posts are moderated for a period of time before you have posting rights. That way if you want to post something, I have to approve it, or it doesn't get posted. Simple. After awhile, and your posts are always clean and to the point, I "un-moderate" you.

Put me on the volunteer list.
