My 2017 class c four winds charges house battery from generator and shore power, but not from alternator. I've heard this could be a solenoid, relay, or fuse but not sure where these would be located. Also tried using the emergency start switch once and it failed to work, switch tested good with voltage on one side when running. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Not a fuse or relay but could be a solenoid. A 2017 may have a BIRD/Trombetta solenoid combo, or a BIM-165. In class Cs these are usually located under the hood. Trace the cables from the chassis battery positive terminal.

Open the hood and find the engine coolant reservoir mounted near the firewall on the driver's side. Remove the three hex head screws holding it in place... no need to remove any rubber hoses if you're careful.

You'll likely find a Trombetta solenoid and a potted Isolator Relay Delay (IRD)... parts shown below.

When I switched to lithium batteries I changed out the Trombetta solenoid and IRD for an integrated Li BIM-225 which is specific to lithium batteries. There is also a BIM-160 intended for lead-acid batteries. These components essentially perform the same functions as the Trombetta/IRD.

I would check your wiring first... might be simply a loose wire. If further testing is needed all the wiring is easily accessible.
