Fresh water tank fill

Is there a valve to us city water connection to fill fresh water tank?

Well: I doubt that there's a valve...
But it's easy enough to disconnect the hose from your "City Water" inlet, and reconnect it to your freshwater tank...

There is no valve (unless your water pump check valve has debris in it).

You have to unhook the city water from the driver's side and drag the hose around to the passenger side fill.

Exactly, that is just crazy, every other rig I've ever owned had fill on same side.

I can crawl hose underneath or buy a longer hose to go around.

My Class A has the tank fill on the curbside too and I’ve always wondered why. The fresh water tank goes across the width of the coach and it seems like it would be just as easy to put the filler on the street side. There must be a reason they build it this way. I just can’t imagine what it would be!

Our Wayfarer has the freshwater tank fill on the rear of the rig. The city water hook-up is in the second bay on the driver's side.
(It all depends where they hide the components.)
Our Outlaw had them on the opposite sides of the rig...

It's so people don't "accidentally" mix it up with the Fuel intake....I know I know.. think rentals??

Speaking only for the 24.1 Axis which has a curbside fill, I would guess that since the fresh water tank is located on the curb side, it has a more direct fill hose. I also found that this does make filling convenient at the home. It has never been a problem for me.

I did the hose dragging thing for years! Our 18' Outlaw 37RB does actually have a switch where we connect the City water hose. Just turn the dial and it fills the fresh tank!

Just a couple months ago, I finally got around to putting a fill loop in on mine. Just tee'd into the water line on the discharge side of the water pump and put a ball valve in a loop connecting back on the suction side.

On the suction side I teed back in at the place where thor had put the antifreeze suction port...and added a second valve along with a length of tubing for making that antifreeze job a bit easier.

It was an easy job. 'Hardest' part was modifying the cabinet panels that access the pump area so that I could pull them off without tools....and that was no more trouble than installing some spring catches.

I would have loved to get a panel mount valve and mount on a bulkhead like rcharrette's picture, but that would have been a whole other set of issues...
Instead I just went with a cheap basic ball valve.

I also added a "T" and a valve off my cold water line by the hot water heater. The "T" has a 1/2" water line that I ran back to the fresh water tank fill line, where I added another "T" connection. When I am hooked up to City water I just open the valve to fill the fresh water tank. then close it when filled.

Since it's totally a gravity fill, it has to be mounted high enough for this. Most water tanks are centered on the frame and have "walk around" living space around the hidden tank (under bed). The fill hose has to be mounted within the walls, about 2-3 feet higher than top of tank, as short and directly to the tank as possible. An exposed "knee-high" hose running across the bedroom would be a trip hazard.

That's where ours is: hidden under the bed, and in the middle of the rig (right to left...)

Yeah I thought about running it waist high to avoid tripping. LOL

Everything is concealed:
My tank is under my Dinette seat, yes it fills from the top from outside, I added a "T" before the tank. Then the 1/2" water line get run under the carpeted chase under the table and through the cabinets to a valve and the city water line.

Sanitize fresh water tank on Thor Sequence

I have been looking for a gravity water inlet in which I can instill some diluted bleach. All I can find are Water Fill and City Water fill nozzles. Please help!
