2018 Thor ACE 30.3. When filling the fresh water tank it does not flow back out of the opening where you fill it but starts running out into the storage underneath and on to the floor inside from under the kitchen cabinet!. Is there an over flow not connected or what? How can I get to it?

On my Miramar there is an overfill line that that runs directly onto the ground. I'm not sure about yours but it sounds like the overfill line may be disconnected. Have you filled the motorhome before?

Where is your fresh water tank? Mine is under the coach in one of the storage compartments so even if it leaked it wouldn't damage the coach.

It's in a compartment alright, you have access to one end of it. Can't see the top in the space it's in. How can it come out on the floor?

Our new 22FE had the same thing happen. Found out there was a crack in the top of the water tank that was allowing the water to pour out onto the floor around the tank. The coach spent 4 months at Thor in Indiana getting a new tank and floor put in due to widespread mildew.

The hose clamp on my city water fill system was loose and came off during a fill. Water ended up all in the mid restroom sink cabinet. I put it back on and secured the clamp properly. I also checked the other end, and the drain hose. They were OK. It could be just a matter of a loose fitting connection at the tank side of the hose system.

Fresh water over flow problem.

After serious contortions to get under the sink, remove the right side panel and look in there, the fresh water fill hose was never clamped at the fill port from outside! When it was filled it just fell off and laid on the floor. Hence all the water going in just squirted all over under there! Another bad assembly not caught by any quality control.

This happened to me too. Poor quality control. It is happening industry-wide. Business is booming for the RV industry, and it is difficult for Elkhart, Indiana to draw more talented workers into the area. The result, the existing skilled people are being "worked to death" and the companies will hire anything with a pulse. The work force gets a bit larger, but the QA department never grows proportionately to the floor workers. So, newbies build it wrong, but QA doesn't get to see everything they need to see. The experienced workers don't take the time to really look over the shoulders of the newbies long enough to be sure they are properly trained, and have demonstrated the skills necessary to be left alone. The result...we suffer the poor quality.

Maybe we should all pool our resources and start our own motorhome company and only hire hard working, conscientious people and pay them a living wage with good benefits. And instead of just sitting in our offices, get out on the line and inspect what is being done :coolsmiley:
