Since motor on shade has never worked, is there a way to convert shade to a manual shade? It would be easier to close it by tugging at bottomi instead of rolling it up holding top roller.

I've seen posts on these forums saying motors for these shades are fairly inexpensive on e-Bay and maybe Amazon and they are said to be easily replaced.

Our nightshade didn't work when we did our walk through. It came down a few inches then stopped. Dealer said they reset it, it works well now. I don't know how to reset it tho.

Does it not even try to run? I'm assuming you checked fuse. If it try's to run and you need programming instructions I can post them.

Our shade worked fine before we took our rv in for unrelated warranty work. After we got it home and immediately prior to a weekend trip, we discovered it was no longer working. Called the service tech who was totally clueless. Our confidence level in said tech was greatly diminished when after a 10 minute search on YouTube I found instructions on how to fix the problem. There are min/max limits set for both when the ignition is on and when it is off. When messing with fuses and/or the battery, the tech must have caused the motor to forget those limits. If it's not a fuse, then it's probably that. Seems you can solve tons of issues by watching YouTube. ;-)

mine loses it programming for no apparent reason and then accepts programming and works a few days....too aggrevating...I now have manual hanger devices rigged that work perfectly

My sometimes lowers, but when it does, it wont raise My "learning" button beeps great. It'll "learn" me not to lower it and expect it to raise.

Sorry, but since I don't have a Vegas I wouldn't know where to look. Hopefully someone with a Vegas can help.

Do you have Ed's manual, information may be in there.
