For any owners of a 2020 or later Venetian or Tuscany with the 15"Garmin GPS Fusion Infotainment. We have a 2021 Venetian, our system has issues with displaying the cameras, The Bluetooth connection for Fusion Audio will not stay connected for more than 30 second (the Bluetooth phone and link app work, Fusion is treated as a separate connection). I have been told that this is a software issue and they are working on it. However I find it odd that with this unit being used going on 3 model years and I don't seem to find any other complaints of this. Does no one stream music such as Pandora, Spotify, etc. on these? Has anyone else seen these problems? If you have one and everything works as it should can you find the version it is running? The most current Garmin version is 2.50.

Garmin infotaimemnt

We have multiple problems with infotainment. We gotten in our 2022 Thor Tuscany 45mx and the whole unit is dead. The on/off button isn’t even glowing Tried simple problem solving like engine on/ off. Don’t know where else to begin looking for issue. Any ideas?

Problem spontaneous disappeared and is now back again. Also no camera display while driving with Garmin dead. All fuses we can find are good

R.V. 1501 infotainment

Since the R.V. 1501 has been discontinued by Garmin, what replaces it? I’ve searched internet and can’t seem to find replacement

Looks like a standard double-DIN body insertion so any double-DIN based system should fit. The 1501 does have individual camera inputs so you would need to get a replacement that does as well or install a camera multiplexer.

But replacing the radio won't fix a bad power or ground wiring issue.

Did you find a solution? I'm having the same issue now. Can't find any fuses blown. It happened when we disconnected coach battery to test it (it was bad) but now unit won't power back up. Suggestions?

I feel your pain... but in reality Garmin just ain't what it used to be... especially in the realm of navigation. Many horror stories of $1,000 units and dead-end single lane dirt roads come to mind.

There's better out there. I still use a Garmin as reference, but I don't solely rely on it... it's just one of three navigation aids. So... not to sugarcoat it, but maybe it's time to replace it with a more viable option?

Just my opinion... and you know that old saying about "opinions"...

The Garmin performance isn't my problem it's getting it to power up. This unit has my rear camera, and stereo built in

Pull the head unit and power test it. Or alternatively take it to any competent stereo shop... they can do that for you. It could simply be a loose wire.

In any case, there are literally hundreds of double DIN head units available - all with camera inputs, navigation, Bluetooth, Apple Car Play, Android Auto... etc etc. Most will easily outperform a dated Garmin head unit.

There is no "Head" unit. This is a 15" flat screen, like a tablet, that controls not only the GPS but the bluetooth, radio, and most importantly to me the rear camera screen. It's built in to the dash. BTW, it's only 4 years old. I suspect a fuse, but can't find a blown fuse anywhere.

The screen is the display for the head unit.
