Garmin camper RV 785 mount solutions?

I have a Garmin RV camper 785 GPS with integrated dash cam and the mounting system that came with it continually comes loose.

Does anyone have any mounting solutions that would more firmly hold this thing in place as I drive down the road?

The plastic dash board behind my instrument cluster seems weak, is not firm and is flimsy, big surprise, right?

So any tips or pictures of different mounting solutions would be greatly appreciated

A little pricey but I use RAM Mounts on my motorcycle and sports cars. Plenty of options, easily adjustable and stay put.

You might need to find a more solid place to attach the base unit. Or figure how to shore up the area that feels flimsy.

1 - Get rid of the disc
2 - Move the suction mount to the shiny finished area of the dash. It should just fit.
3 - Spread a dab of water soluble craft glue (like the old Elmer's white glue) on the suction cup. Spread it around so it circles the center.
4 - Attach the suction mount to the shiny finished area as normal. Give it a day or so to dry before attaching the GPS.

This should stay on the dash for months instead of days. When it does fail, use a wet wash cloth to soak and remove the old glue. Then rinse and repeat.

The other option is a bean bag style mount.
