Gel coat and decal oxidation

Our 2017 23U Chateau has some serious oxidation issues on front and rear top of coach and also on decals. One of the decals has started to blister a little.
I’m thinking that I may need to buff the oxidation off.
I welcome any suggestions on any methods that you have tried.
Also would welcome any preventative measures that may work
I have purchased a cover to hopefully help with this problem when rig is stored.

3M restorer and wax. I used a power applicator and 10 inch buffer to remove. Worked great to get the shine back. Jerry

We used McGuire's oxidation remover with a orbital buffet followed by McGuire's premium wax...

Took some work, but was worth it ( in my opinion)

I prob should have tried oxidation remover. A few years back when mine started getting bad I tried all sorts of other things though...rubbing compounds, waxes, polishes, random orbit buffers..... I wore myself out on it
nothing really seemed to work all that well.
then I tried the acrylic floor polish trick...scrub it with barkeepers friend...then I added a step of washing with TSP...then many coats of the floor polish. I used some stuff from walmart, lots of folks use something by Zep.
Anyway, the results were jaw dropping...but it didn't last of course.

Later, I sprayed the overcab nose cone with rattle can automotive lacquer (Rustoleum)...took several cans...and sadly I rushed it so didn't do the best of jobs....but it's still looking pretty good after I think 14 months or so.... not "new" but it shines and looks ok

The stickers still look worn and faded, don't think there's any fixing them, but they are shiny at least....

I've been thinking about touching up the front and doing the rest of the rig some day...maybe even learning how to use a proper spray gun.... I just can't seem to make enough time to get anywhere close to that project.

Exactly what my answer was going to be. Once the decals are gone, they are gone. I had a few on the back of our Axis going bad and I had to remove them with a heat gun. Decals are a problem.

The paint warranty company has sent a detailer twice to correct it but it doesn’t last but 3 months. I threw my back out last time I tried to remove the oxidation on the drivers side and now I did the same thing today. I am just going to get the thing professionally painted after it gets so bad I can’t stand it. Cab, curb side and back look very good except for the browning on the decals in the rear. Is it possible to just have the gel coat clear coated?

Did you do same for decals?

I use Aero 303 on decals and rubber seals and the inside seating and dash

Taking my 2018 Compass back to the dealer next week. They have contacted Thor and waiting for a answer, will keep you informed. Here`s what it looks like

You might check with The Paint Dept. in Chino, CA and get an estimate for a full paint job. They will paint on the decal designs if you want them to.
