I have a 2016 diesel thor citation 24ss.
For some reason the generator is not getting power and won't even try to start. Even plugged in. All 3 batteries are new.
I've had trouble before with lack of power to awning stairs and interior power but that was fixed but pushing the reset button under the bed.
Now I have the same problem with no power remotely in the cab. No stairs. No awning. Along with no power going to the generator.
Could this be a fuse issue?
Where would the fuse be?
Is it a circuit breaker?
Please advise

Did you get it figured out, I have a 2018, the circuit breaker/fuse panel is under the bed in ours. Open the slide out, lift up the mattress. The transfer switch is there as well. Go to the thors owners website, sign up and enter your vin, may give you some schematics. But on my were general. I called their support and they sent some better diagrams. I’m troubleshooting electrical issues and almost think the generator uses the chassis battery to start.

If you aren’t getting battery power to the coach, then could be the battery disconnect. It’s in the same area. Go back there with a volt meter or power probe and make sure power is on both sides of the disconnect. It does have fuses, also, check all the 12 volt fuses in the panel as well. Generator not getting 12v to start could be a different issue. I went to Lowe’s, purchased 2x10’s and build step like ramps. Then I can use a crawler to get under, if you can do that, go to the generator and chase the positive cable back.

You are replying to a one post drive-by. His post was very scattered and the title misleading, but I think the key to all his problems was "All 3 batteries are new". So may post on this Forum from people that changed their own batteries and did not prepare with labels and pictures; then connected things backwards/wrong/left unconnected.

Your generator starts from the house batteries (as originally wired) through a 100 amp DC breaker near the house batteries.

Thanks, just joined myself. Think you saw the House radio thread I started, I’ve been working through my unit and I don’t have an issue with the generator starting, I’m trying to sort through the chassis battery not charging when plugged in. I’ll start my own thread, just hoping to find some others with this Citation model as I haven’t had much luck so far.
