I'm getting ready for our trip next week to Maine and decided to change the oil and filters on the generator. I guess I'm getting impatient in my old age because refilling that generator is a pain in the %$$. You have to SLOWLY trickle the oil in or the engine wont take it. That oil pan must he 1/4 inch deep and 20 inches wide.

Ya I just did mine and it reminded me how slow it is. At least the drain is a straight shot on this rig. Want on the last and made a mess most the time

Yeah its slow. First time I changed the oil said to myself, "Self, it's full." Screwed the cap on, went to start it and it shut down on low oil pressure. Unscrewed the cap, took a peek, and...
I won't be fooled again. :blush:
