My wife and I are retired and live near Wellington, FL. I worked as an aerospace flight test engineer for 36 years and retired in 2004 when I went full time fire as a Asst. Fire Chief. My wife retired after 36 years for a financial company. We travel with our 9 year old Welsh Corgi.

Recently downsized from a 38' Tiffin RED diesel pusher in which we lived full time. Started off last year with a 26' Forest River Sunseeker and are waiting delivery this week of our 2014 Thor Four Winds 26A Class C.

We pretty much stick to the state of FL traveling between Okeechobee, Key West, Sarasota and of course, Disney.

I live in Cocoa, FL and have recently purchased a Class C. I would love to get some information about where you park when you go to Key West. We haven't taken a camper down there yet but I would really like to.

pdeter - we always booked in Bluewater RV -many water spots and many inland spots have large Chickee huts. If interested, I would have to look up the information because 1/2 the lots are rented by the office and the other half are rented by someone representing the owners. Two different telephone numbers. Its pricey but we had a 38' diesel pusher. Its about a 15 minute ride to Key West
The other place is Boyd's. It cheaper but lots are small. In fact, they usually park the RV for you. We are going to try it this year with the new 26' RV but be aware that while Boyd's is safe, I wouldn't walk outside their park at night. Tough area.
