Hi all,
Thanks in advance for reading (and hopefully responding) to my post.

I am about to purchase a 2013 Tuscany 42WX and am hoping for some advice/feedback on the unit and on the price I've negotiated.

First, price. We settled on $225 from a MSRP of $347. Although I know it seems like a good deal on the surface, I'd like to hear from anyone if they believe I should have negotiated a better price? Thats out the door, before taxes.

Second, unit. Does anyone have any specific feedback or advice on this model year and model? Anything in particular I should look out for during the walk-thru inspection? Should I run away from the unit because of some design flaw or quality issue?

Also, how is Thor's customer service? Do they stand behind their products and respond to late night or weekend requests for help?

Lastly, should I go for the extended warranty? The 7 year price is just over $7k including fabric and tires?

Thanks everyone, I appreciate the help.

For what it's worth...
In terms of percentage discount off MSRP and "bottom dollar" discount below a "Sale Price", you beat me on my deal. You are at about 65% of MSRP at $225K, and I was at .68% of MSRP on my ACE.

Can't help you on the specific unit, and Thor specifically, but the people at Camping World where I bought it are very good and fun to work with. They enjoy their work which says a lot for the organization and they all like Thor.

For loooks, your Tuscany is gorgeous.

Hello and welcome. When shopping I utilize RVs For Sale On RV Trader- New and Used Fleetwood,Airstream,Winnebago,Keystone,Forest River,Newmar RVs and More-RVTrader.com and a Google search to see what it is running nationwide. I also check out See Dealer Cost. I then negotiate what I believe to be a fair price that also gives the dealership a fair profit. Remember when checking these things out to take into account options that may or may not be on your unit vs the other ones advertised. Hope this helps you some.
