We just traded our travel trailer on a new 2015 Thor Windsport 35C and when we got it home, I noticed that the rubber roof is bubbled along the right and left sides. Does anyone know if this is this normal expansion?

It is not unusual for the rubber roof membrane to develop small bubbles. They should not significantly increase in size or cover a large area. Recommend you show your dealer on next visit, to document or send photos to Thor. (Just in case it becomes a problem).
My prior MH, 2000 GeorgieBoy DP had some bubbles and they never changed or caused a problem in over 15 years... Roof material was made by DICOR and they warned- do not puncture the bubbles and try to re-glue. The roof material should have a 10-12 year warranty.

Enjoy the new RV..

RalphC- BTW I was in Queenstown,Md 2 weeks ago, returning from an RV trip to Niagara. Had a great dinner at Fisherman's Inn on Kent Island.

I had serious bubbles in the rubber roof of a pull behind toy hauler. Since the bubbles didn't enlarge over time, I ignored them except when I cleaned the roof or saw them from the upper windows of the house. No problems with leaking or tearing, but I'd prefer no bubbles on a roof.
