Many of you will recall the older lady...84 years old now...that traveled with us across the Wild West in 2023 and again in 2024. She travels alone in a Travato 24'. She's traversed the Great Loop twice in their Nordic Tug until she lost her husband. She then switched to a "land yacht" and has logged over 84,000 miles in her camper. Duck Face has met her in his driveway when we stopped by his estate in 202, and o3. She's tough as a box of rocks. In June she's setting out from her home in Vero Beach on a journey up the east coast all the way to Maine and on to her cabin in Detour, MI. We can't make this trip with her. My plea here is to compose a list of great folks she could call on along the way in the event of a catastrophic failure somewhere. She's dealt with flats, battery issues and general "this quit working" issues and is well versed with the nuts and bolts of campers in general. It would be comforting for me, and her as well, to have a list of names and numbers to combat a life threatening situation she most likely will not encounter. For those participating, please just email me your name and number and I'll keep thing private. I will post stars on her map for reference so she can see how close help may be in case she needed it. Thanks in advance. She's truly a sweet old soul. Her "call name" on the road is "Granny in a Shanty". My email address is "TheGritzCarlton@gmail.com". Thanks a million!!

The spousal unit often wonders of her. She made a big impact here.

I'm good for major things from Barstow to Albuquerque and Moab to Nogales. Even farther as need arises.

I'm good for minor things Gallup to Kingman and Page to Phoenix.

She can always text or call no matter where or why if she needs an opinion on something.

This is in case her plans lead her west or for the next time she's on an out-n-about.

No need for privacy on my part.
You have my information.

Sending email. I am on her route to Maine.

Amazing responses!! Thanks to all of you who have offered up your hearts! She will be so amazed at all the great folks here. In 2023 I posted a request for places to see and thing to do as we traveled out west. It turned out to be 6 printed pages of "copy and post" notes and recommendations and it was a huge reference as we traveled.

We are in northwest Michigan, about an hour south of the Mighty Mac bridge connection the 2 penninsulas. Email sent
