Laid some money down and spread some ink at Greenway RV Sat afternoon on the 388FKL!!! Thrilled to officially be an owner!
We found from back to front, 3 separate sewer dumps, 1 fresh water dump, and 1 T handled pull up at the front under the kitchen that must go to one of the other 3 dump tanks. Rear dump should be from washer/dryer, 2nd dump should to shower/sink from bathroom. The one in front of the tires is labelled Black. Do we have any 388 owners that can verify where that kitchen dump goes? Black tank would be the closest?

Kitchen Dump Valve

Finally figured out exactly how the Kitchen Dump handle in our 388FKL operates. We knew it would go to the black or grey tanks but no indication of where it would go officially. After a few test pulls this past summer I've found the kitchen grey water has it's own tank. When you pull the valve it dumps the kitchen grey water out the black tank dump exit pipe. Probably designed to flush the pipe after the black tank is dumped! So, black tank and kitchen grey tank dump with their own valves but exit via the 3" Black water septic pipe.

We just got a new 2025 388FKL, and we don't know how to turn on the shower! We got it from a dealer in Wisconsin and had it delivered to Washington state. Thanks for the information on the grey water tanks and what happens when you pull that valve! Hopefully, we'll figure everything out when we go back to our campsite next weekend.

For ours, as soon as the external hose is connected and turned on, we have water pressure available at all water valves. Before turning on the hot water heater we open the brass high press relief on the water heater and purge the air until water runs. Then you can close it and turn on your hot water control.

When showering we also turn the hot water control valve on all the way and then adjust the cold valve to your comfort zone. We found that if you turn down the flow of the hot water to much the heater will shut down thinking the demand is done. Very exhilarating LOL!!!
