No white christmas in NC but that is ok because it would take them a week to dig out from a half inch around here. We northeners (I'm a yankee actually!) laugh at them down here. As for cookies, DD and I are baking some sugar cookies followed by chocolate chip cookies now.

We had a rainy Christmas as the snow and wind went around us. Flooding, but no dangers. Hot chocolate all around.

Merry Christmas, Happy New Year. Heading to Gulf Shores, Al next Thursday for our annual three month vacation. Can't wait to get out of northern Illinois.

Dale, What route are you going to be taking

Frank, taking I57, I24, I65 straight down to Foley. Its the route we always travel. Couple of nice cmpgrds we stop at along the way. Hoping maybe you and Janet will get over to Robertsdale one of these winters.
