And more importantly, we are thankful that we have retired and started our travel journeys. We are also thankful for the great people we have met along the way and for all of the shared advice. Happy Thanksgiving, fellow Crossroaders.
Jean- Anthony thought about doing exactly that. I said no so instead I'm hitting southern states first thing in the morning for a new dog crate. We get to drive to Richmond tomorrow afternoon and will hopefully be coming home with a new puppy!
I'm thankful for my family (even though they are all crazy), for my wonderful neighbors who always help me out in a jam, and for everyone who has served in order to give me the ability and right to be thankful for these things!
Thanks. He will be coming to the northeast rally with us in may so you can meet him then. He is a total sweetheart, even with this being his first night away from momma.
funny thing is he doesn't like being outside. At first I thought it was because he was cold so I bought him a coat. No, he wants to be in the house as much as possible. I think it is because of the start he had in life. He was born outside. momma was tied outside and as the puppies grew they began to wander. Capone and another litter mate got hit by a car. The other puppy didn't survive. Capone had bumps, bruises and abrasions. Living strictly outside for the first 3 months of his life with no shelter, he is afraid to go out. We will work on that though.
