Welcome to the Crossroads family. I'm sure that you won't be disappointed with your new ST27RB. Don't be afraid to ask questions of others on this forum. We always learn from each other and if you have a problems, there is always a solution on the forum.

Don't Winnipeg winters leave late, like about June or July, just before the

mosquito and black flies show up?

wellcome to the crossroad forum there is none better you will get lots of info from all the new friends you meet here

and when it gets to cold we take ours to florida , cool today but warming up

then back to ontario canada in april

Thank you all for the warm welcome!! Waiting until the pickup date in April for the new rig is harder than I thought it would be. I will have plenty of time to ADD to the mod list. I think the screen door lexan and homemade wheel chocks will be first.

I have the upgraded insulation package in the ST27RB and long underwear for us to help extend the RV season.

We purchased from Leisure Days, and dealt with Jinny. What dealer did you buy from?

We purchased from Northview Campers in Sioux Falls South Dakota last May. We are very happy with the unit. How has Leisure Days been to deal with? What did you have before this unit?

We bought a Kodiak 235 hybrid off of them in April of last year. They gave us what we paid last year for the Kodiak on a trade for the 09 Sunset Trail. I have not had any problems with them, very hospitable, but I have not had to exercise any warranty issues either. The staff is friendly but the jury is out on the service manager. I would buy from them again as it stands. Why did you buy from SD instead of locally? What happens now if you need warranty work done?

We sold our previous fifth wheel in April of last year privately. After deciding on the floorplan and specs we wanted Leisure Days didn't have the unit we wanted. We needed a new one by May and wefoundone in Brandonafter driving out there and researching the price on the internet, they were out by about $8,000 plus taxes. I was willing to pay up to $2000 more to buy in Manitoba but not $8000. As far as warranty work goes when we purchased the unit in South Dakota we made amini vacation out of it and stayed there and tested the trailer there for a few days.A few minor things but nothing that big. Since then I have taken care of any repairs myself. This spring we are planning another trip to Sioux Falls to get a couple of minor issuesfixed. Again we are making a mini vacation out of it. This is our 3rd 5th wheel and we are very pleasedwith it so far. Where do you usually go camping?
