Thanks Bob, we are very happy with it even though there have been issues in the last three years. We're so glad that you found us!
Welcome to our very own little corner of things! :coolsmiley:
(And your rig really looks gorgeous!)
I'm sure you will enjoy it very much. Be prepared for some issues and be prepared to fix many of them yourself. Thor support is excellent even when the warranty runs out!Welcome! We just purchased a 2018 Miramar 35.3 and love it!
My wife and I are owners of a 34' 2015 Thor Miramar and we love it. We love to volunteer as Campground hosts. In 2018 we will live in it for 11 months hosting at Huntington Beach State Park in Murrells Inlet, SC and Tanglewood Park in Clemmons, NC. We hope to meet you sometime. Safe travels. Definitely water leaks! The shower fixture had to be talented off and hoses had to be tightened. Both front side windows had to be removed and recaulked. I had to remove and replace the "KantLeak" water diverter (appropriate name! Cause it Kan). Recently, I replaced my outside porch light because it warped and pulled away from the wall and allowed rain water to leak inside. I am Nw looking at replacing both my Seiki TVs because they have no QAM filters. The outside Continuous TV works fine. Just a few things...Miramar owner here as well. Welcome to the site!
What sort of issues did you run into? I bought mine new and I've been quite busy fixing nearly all the issues on my own. Most of mine have been water leaks.
Ours has had issues as will any complex piece of machinery running down bumpy roads at 60mph. My real frustration has been with Camping World doing the actual repairs! I took my coach in four separate times to get window leaks fixed and I know it just sat on their lot for a week two of those times and no one looked at it.We have a 2015 34.2 . I've read about many issues with the 2017 and newer models, but ours have been pretty minimal and the construction in the 2015's seem to be pretty good, like before the RV boom, when so many are being pushed through to meet demand. Let's us know how yours is holding up. We got our slightly used 10k miles with lots of upgrades including a second toilet in the master closet! Not kidding. Good job, professional by all accounts. Our city water cracked. Some screws coming out of the bottom of the slide grabbed some flooring and a roller, and found out its time for a generator tune up, and the steps entry recall problem, and replace the inverter (all under extended warranty) other than that, it's been pretty solid. Looking at 5 star tuner.
