Ok, so I'm new to my 2011 30SK but, is the only switch to turn on any living room/kitchen lights behind the cupboard door on the electronics panel???? I can't find anything on the walls, by the door, or any place else; just the one that is labeled "kitchen" on the electronics panel, which of course, is impossible to locate coming in the door in the pitch dark! Surely I must be missing something...

Our kitchen and living room light switches are inside the cupboard when you come in, and that's the only place. There is a screw holding the panel in place, and when we come in we open the door, feel for the screw, and the light switches as beside it. That is what helps us.

Well heck, I was hoping I had missed the switch! Oh well, looks like an LED Taplight is in order, stuck to the wall just in inside the door!

The switch in the panel controls the overhead lights all other lights have their individual switches. You can remove the insert in that panel door for easier view and access. There is no convenient switch for entry. When on shore power we plug an led nite light in the outlet in that control panel it gives enough ambient light to keep you from breaking your neck.

My '07 was the same way-dumb. I moved the wiring to a matching light switch I cut and installed into the wall just to the right of the cabinet by the wall corner. Wires were long enough that I didn't need to add any. I then placed a white blank plate over the original box inside the cabinet. Works much better. Maybe this will work for your '11.

Put up a tap light just inside the door, works great! four LED tap lights for $3.97 at Wally World! I'll put the others in my front cargo area ceiling since there is no wired light up there.

I think you will find a light in the front cargo area just above the hatch door. :)

I looked briefly, with a flashlight but did not see one....thanks for the reply, I will certainly look again! ...hope it's there!

Rather than a tap light, I have one with a magnetic switch stuck to the backside of the cabinet door. Just open the door and the light turns on.
