I have two issues with our 2016 Thor Hurricane.. First, we are having a problem resetting our refrigerator, dual energy, after the GFI tripped. There is power to the unit, but we cannot get it to come on. Second, we are in need of a new awning! Laramie, Wyoming is our home.

There are two sources for power to the fridge and two operation modes. What power have you verified and which modes are not working?

Do you need an entire awning assembly or just the fabric? The fabric is available at any RV supply store and even Amazon.

On your RV fridge - On propane the fridge uses 12 volt power and propane. Only on auto does the CB check for 120 volt GFCI power. On the rear of the fridge your will find a typicality (two blade and round ground 15 amp 120 volt) plug that is mated to a 120 volt receptacle. You can remove the plug and test the receptacle with a 120 volt GFCI tester. If that test good, you may have a wet circuit board. Before replacing, try warming it with a heat gun or hair dryer for a couple minutes.

Your patio awning is Carefree of Colorado - Latitude. All parts are available on the website and most are sold on Amazon. Mine is 192" (16ft) with roll LED electric power cord ($20) and is $407 plus shipping in vinyl. The flex cover is an additional $200 (highly recommended). If you are brave, two guys on 10 ft ladders with limited skills can change the fabric or you can pay $250 and have it changed for you (my personal choice). My age and mild acrophobia prevents me from attempting the replacement. My personal opinion if the fabric or vinyl does not have the Sunbrella tag on it, I will pass of the buy.

We will need to replace fabric and want to install a "clam shell", which I think will require a new mechanism.

Thank you! We will do your fridge suggestion and I will look into Carefree of Colorado.

Fridge is a WORCOLD Model N611F
Yes--Norcold.
I have had the same problems with mine for over a year. When lit from the outside access, it will stay on, but would not light, or heat on it's own.
Went out to the motor home today, bound & determined to fix that F’g fridge or rip it out!
The POS fired right up! Auto and gas.
I brushed all rear parts & took the leaf blower to it, Cleaned right up.
Tried Auto and Gas again—both worked. (Even though the driveway is slanted toward the street!)
I think I scared the Sh*t out of it.

Hopefully it'll be scared stiff for a long time!! :geek:

I just saved $1k. 🤪

Point being---when all else fails, light it with a match stick.
