Here are some new ideas Redwood!

With that much window, best have some GREAT AC !!!!

And, does it have a blind for privacy if it's out front :)

I wonder this: Typically Front Living rooms are warmer/hotter than the rest of the areas because of the lower ceiling height, so now you add that front window, what happens if you're on a site facing into the sun? Maybe the need for that third AC non-ducted just for that area.

I guess I'm the odd ball, but I personally think the bedroom belongs over the fifth wheel. We don't/haven't liked any of the floor plans with the living room/kitchen upstairs. Our dealer was really pushing the FL model when we ordered, but due to lack of closet space, tv in lr was at a 90 degree angle to all the seating, etc. we weren't interested.

I agree! We have a chance to camp with some fantastic ocean and mountain views out the back window. I wouldn't want to give that up.

We looked at the FL RW and it was intriguing but I was not sure about the lower ceiling in the front. I like the big rear window for a view when parked at the beach and the lakes. When parked at our home location all I see is another trailer behind us in the next row. I did like the 2 doors but now I hear that the 2nd door has been removed I would not even consider the FL. But that is why we have choices different strokes for different folks :)

We liked the FL model... BUT the turn offs were stronger than the likes..

Lower ceiling and slides..
Usually slides up front on the curb side, AND on the rear curb side. that takes away from the under the awning seating..
The kitchen seating seamed tighter... With having 2 kids that camp with us , our table is always in the out position ...
Just our opinion for our needs...

FLs of just about any Brand seem to be either a Love It or Hate It by folks.
We're in the Hate It crowd, but our good friends that we travel with Love the FL floor plan and just traded their less than a year old Jayco Pinnacle (issues up the wazoo) for a 2015 RW FL.

I agree, the FL is either a love it or hate it type of floorplan.

We have had several RL type floorplan 5th Wheels and enjoyed them but for us, our FL is a great floorplan for us and our lifestyle.

That is why they make so many different floorplans, something for everybody :)

Our friends bought an FL model in 2012 and after walking through it we just shook our heads and said never. Well never say never, we are know lovers of the FL, yes less closet space but from experience we tend to wear the same clothes over and over, as for the ceiling height we are not tall 5'6'' max, I do have less space in basement for my man stuff, but I only carry bare necessities. As for the kitchen table its just DW and myself, no problem. We love our 2013 FL.

I have had 3 different rl models and had the fl been around when the kids were still with us and we were doing more entertainingthe fl would have been my pick

Different floor plans for different folks. I can usually find both positives and negatives for each design, it boils down to what you're willing to live with.

I kind of liked that Rear Lounge floor plan that Montana came out with, sort of an FL in reverse with the Rear Lounge raised up from the Kitchen, with a full width pass-thru under it.

THAT floor plan was going to be our next trailer... BUT the manufacturers had other ideas... I did not want to give up the large curbside slide and awning.... The Montana was actually a 3 level living..
kitchen - main floor'
Bedroom - up front up steps
Living area - in rear up steps...

My opinion was that it made it look small inside due to ceiling height.

NOW the Solitude 375RLE was real nice . just did not like the Grand Design version

During our recent vacation In Myrtle we decided to look around at some RV dealers in the area to see what they had new in the 5vers. We saw one unit that had the bedroom and bath up front like most do and the kitchen was still in the middle. What was awesome was the den/living room was up three steps also just like the bedroom which made for lots of storage underneath...it was and awesome idea for us that love the FL models. Another Model had a small bonus room right when you walk in the door which was perfect if your full timers and wanted a small den/office. Besides having a couch/bunk in the room, outside and above the room was a huge bed for the Grandkiddies or more storage space. We need to send these Ideas to Redwood.

Thank you, they certainly are all beautiful rigs. Even though we love our Redwood we still like looking around at what's out there.

Don't send me links for any new Fords, Steve isn't happy that I want to upgrade my truck already :) I tell him you buy what you want I buy what I want. Doesn't hurt to pull in and look - hehehe
