Good morning all: I am the proud new owner of a 2012 Cruiser S-313BHS and just wanted to introduce myself ( Russ) and ask if anybody else has this unit and if you can give me any good tips etc.

Also if you have any suggestions on great places to take the grandkids, feel free to pass them along.

Looking forward to conversing with you all in the coming months.

Good morning and welcome to the forum. We do not have a Cruiser, but a Seville. You will enjoy. How far out of Edmonton do you want to go with the grandkids? Great place up by us. It is Hilliards Bay Provincial Park. Great little beach, power sites, water fill up on every loop, lots of trees, deer, bear (occasionally). Look it up on the internet. It is about a 4 hour drive from Edmonton going Slave Lake Road to High Prairie and Grouard. Also Carson by Whitecourt is great fishing and about 1-2 away.

Happy Camping, enjoy

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on the new Cruiser...Alberta is a beautiful place, from what I've seen on the internet,I'm sure you will find a great place to camp...Good luck and have fun!...

Congrats on the new trailer. As far as places to go, I don't know how far you are looking to go but Myrtle beach SC is nice (pirateland family campground, ocean lakes campground and myrtle beach travel park are the big 3 there). If you are interested in going to disney in FL, they have a wonderful campground called Fort Wilderness. Gettysburg in PA is nice from a historical standpoint. I hear there are some nice places in northern michigan (don't know where, just heard talk on other forums). Enjoy your new rig and may it bring you many happy camping memories.

Congrats on the new unit. Nothing like the smell of a new camper. Welcome to the family, safe travels. Lots of wonderful people on here with great advice and opinions.

Welcome Russ, enjoy your new Crossroads...this forum was a great part of my decision to buy a Cruiser...the honesty, the openess, and the pros and cons offered were all a great help, and it led me to a great dealer on top of that. Hope to see you down the road at some point. Enjoy!

Thanks all for the welcome to the community.

Albert: Thanksfor the tip.

I will check that one out. We are open to going quite some distances. We plan on doing the Alaska highway this summer and hopefully a couple of trips a week at a time just checking out the badlands , the mountains etc with the Grandkids.

Our first big trip out will be the first week of June with some friends that have never been out here before.

Hope to see some of you out there too.
