Hope this is an easy fix

Not sure what this is, but I hope it can be fixed easily enough? Anyone with experience?

Thor Tuscany 40GQ. this looks like a filter in the line just off the water pump. Im guessing this is why it doesn't hold pressure and the pump keeps running.

Looks like a simple water strainer. If the (plastic?) cover is not simply loose, it should be easily replaced. I think there is an O-ring to seal the joint. Maybe it just needs a new O-ring?

I'm not sure why it appears opaque however. Most of the ones I've seen have a clear cover.

Is the pump running on and off like ever 10 mins or stays on running. Any water puddles under cabinet, shower or rig

Relieve pressure on the system, take it apart, clean the screen, inspect and if necessary replace oring, and use silicone lube on the oring to help it seal better.

Slow drip inside the compartment with the pump. Big puddle under the RV. No leaks inside. The pump does shut off but starts up again, I’m guessing when the drip drops the pressure. Also had a lot of air in the lines that i cleared out by running everything.

I should note that the drip did t start u til i connected the water line to an outside faucet, and put the lever to “city” water.

The drip from the strainer (if that's where it's from) is not a loss of pressure from the pump. The strainer is on the suction side and would leak when the pump was not running. But it would allow the pump to suck air into the system which means it would take longer to reach shutoff pressure, but once shut off, it shouldn't cause pressure to drop and restart the pump.

The water pump in an outside compartment. Nothing leaking from i side.

Any chance you can get to shower water valve without cutting thru wall,it appears the valves could be above your water tank and pump. Have heard of leaky pipes in wall assuming the valves are in wall near the buffet table and slide. Otherwise maybe picture from under the rig looking for water running down pipes.

I've had two "water pump keep running" issues.
1. Connection to the HOT WATER TANK cracked. Water leak found inside the tank compartment
2. Cold water line in the wall of the shower, at the connection to the tap leak. Water found in the wet bay.
