We are potential owners later this year. I'm a light sleeper and need 8 hours of peace in order to get a good night. Or so my husband says!! lol Are there any other people who sleep light and how are you sleeping in your rv? I know it can't be sound proof or anything, but how do you rate the noise in/near parks/campgrounds during quiet hours in general? Thanks ahead for sharing your experience.

First time we have had the dual pane windows, and it is amazingly quiet inside.

That all gets ruined in a hurry though when guys start running their diesels in the early hours. I can hear those 20 campsites away.

I found I sleep better in the coach than I did in the sticks n bricks. I usually keep a fan running in the bedroom area and that will create enough white noise that I sleep well. Typically the thing that wakes me up is the dogs barking - for whatever reason I can hear a barking dog from a mile away.

One of the advantages of my Front Living floorplan is the bedroom is in the rear, I like back in type sites that put my bedroom up against the outskirts of many campgrounds that are sometimes wooded or lakes.
Very quiet in the bedroom, no noise in the morning when people are cranking up trucks and moving around.

I completely agree. There is no RV made that is completely noise proof, but, a small fan running in the bedroom is a big, big help. I like some air moving all the time and the white noise from the fan definitely helps to mask minor highway noise.

My white noise is the bedroom ac unit on fan :)

Takes someone running into the rv to wake us up !

I sleep better in my FL than our home. The mattress is soooo soft; I love it. I would add to what others have said, campground selection plays a huge role in the manner by which quiet hours are/are not enforced. Word to the wise...be selective, if you are able.

Like most of the guys have said here, a fan running is helpful. Most of the time when my wife and I are out camping, we go out doing a lot stuff. By the time we get to the camper, we are beat. Then add a glass of wine....or two. Well, we normally sleep pretty good.

A glass of wine is a good start but there's something else that's follows...:socool:

But our slide-in-slide sure would shake:LOL:

That always makes us sleep better!!!!:flowers: The wine does help and last year we spent the day in SC. searching for the wine you had at the rally since Char liked it so much

Ours is the factory mattress with a cheap 2" foam topper on it. So-so

We have a good 3" topper from Costco on the house mattress, think I'm going to do same to RW

We both find our Redwood provides a great sleep. My DW is a light sleeper and loves the quietness of the RW. Park noise is not an issue with us.

Hi Brad. Yes, got the water filter pics nd specs. My apologies for not responding sooner, been a hectic week. Planning on moving the filter tomorrow and hopefully also installing the MorRyde Slide storage tray. Will send pics when done.

Take pics of that tray! I so want to get my smaller tray in, but its behind getting the shackles done, and welding on the hitch - plus add snowfall every few days :)
