Want to charge 2023 thor Scope engine battery without removing the floor board or running the engine. Is it possible?
How long does he think it takes to charge the battery? It's the same connection. It takes hours to charge a dead battery - unless it's bad - then it will never charge.Thank you for replying. I’m Darlene and doing this for my hubby. He says he found both under the hood but they didn’t charge the battery, just jump started it. He didn’t consult the Promaster manual and will do that now. Thanks again.
You can (and should) connect a trickle charger to the jumper posts under the bonnet.Thank you for replying. I’m Darlene and doing this for my hubby. The Rize would have two Lithium batteries underneath @ 13.6V each- what about the 12.6V chassis (starter) battery?I just keep ours plugged into shore power and both batteries get charged and maintained at 13.6 volts. Ours is a 2022 Rize.
We have two AGM batteries. Both charge when plugged into shore power. The Rize would have two Lithium batteries underneath @ 13.6V each- what about the 12.6V chassis (starter) battery?
Does it charge when plugged into shoreline?
My 2022 Tellaro has lithium and no generator- started just then I think. They did AGM's before that w/ generator in 2021 model years I think. Good that yours charges all when plugged in- the 2022 has no such thing for the Lithiums. My starter battery died first week home. I was surprised since my 20AT w/ AGMs was like yours- had a BIM underneath. We have two AGM batteries. Both charge when plugged into shore power.
I think that Thor went to Lithium batteries in 2023 when they ditched the generator.
