Hydraulic lines bad

After bringing in the bedroom slide on my 2018 Venetian (purchased used in June 2023) the slide would start to creep out. After about 5 cycles of bringing it in, it would stay put. After a few months it started to take up to 25 cycles to stay put. Then the kitchen slide started the same pattern.
The shop thought it might be air in the hydraulic lines. They did have to add a quart of fluid.
When I went to get the coach I let it idle in the parking while preparing to leave. One of the technicians noticed a lot fluid dripping from the coach. One line near the hydraulic pump had blown and was spraying fluid throughout the compartment. Fortunately it happened while I was still at the shop. The shop suggests ALL 14 hydraulic lines for the 4 levelers and 3 slides be changed. The outside sheathing has come off on all of them near the hydraulic pump as well as beneath the coach. I'm told they may be seeping into the mesh covering as well. Thor told the shop it is 4 hours per line to repair so the cost will be high. The risky (and cheap) part of my personality says to only repair the one line. The careful and conservative part of my personality (and my wife) says to get them all done to avoid worry.
Any input would be appreciated.

Hello & welcome.

How much is a good night's sleep worth? How will you sleep at night if you don't replace all the now suspect lines? Unless there is evidence that the damage is due to something other than poor quality hoses (like improper installation that caused abrasion to the one leaking hose), it seems like pay now or pay later...

Seems like a simple binary choice:
Pay them now at your convenience or pay somebody else later when it's not so convenient.

Interesting you have the woven fabric outer layer. Ours are 2016 and are similar to a pex line. What you noted about the number of tries indicates more than a leaking hose. You would have lost much more than a quart with 25 tries. You may have a valve sticking or somone may had adjusted one manually at some point in time. a true hydraulic shop would be a better place however you may not be near one. In my area they change lines on oil rigs to tractors and anything inbetween at reasonable prices and your choice of line ratings. The high-pressure side, determined by valve position/in/out would be the side that leaks back to allow a slide to move. You may have another issue or another small leak so like noted time to choose.

I’m not saying it impossible just not likely that hoses would go bad , rather do you trust the mechanics that are saying big job is the fix. On my 2017 there is a valve on top of reservoir that blew a o-ring so it leaked when I retracted jacks. Just make sure it’s a hose spraying and not something else like $2 o-ring
