BUT - very important consideration !!!

Does it match/complement the coach ?!? :)

No it doesn't match the coach's color but that's ok. The Chevy matched perfectly and I really didn't think it mattered as much as I thought it would. Now I have to order in the tow plate and get her ready to be tugged down the highway.

Tomorrow will be the first work day with it so I'll see how it goes. Should be around a 300 mile day tomorrow under a winter advisory.

Dave..............great looking truck. I assume that it has the Cummins diesel? Hope you enjoy yours as much as I have mine for 6 years.

Thanks Guy!

Today I put 360 miles on it while doing sales calls in a winter advisory. And although I'm having problems with the radio, I love the truck. It sure reminds me of my first F350 (srw) but rides a lot better due to the rear coil springs. It also has a lot less power due to the 6.7 being turned down on the 2500's

Dave - when the time comes, get in touch with Innovative Diesel in Elkton, MD. Little shop in a little town but what isn't known by 99% of the Diesel owners in the country is that Eric, the guy that owns it, writes all the code for the big tuners like Bully Dog, Banks, etc.

He's doing mine after we get back from Florida next month. Programming only, no exhaust, no intake, no def delete and he said he will guarantee that his won't leave a "footprint" in the factory computer. Nothing radical, actually will take mine to about where the 2015 stock one is. Will add 40 hp and about 90 lbs. $399

I'll let you know how it turns out.

Ohhh Dave, tell me it ain't so.
You should have waited until the new F150 with the Power Stroke diesel comes out in 2018. ;)

I know Tom! The all aluminum body panels scare me a bit. Although Dodge is going to the all aluminum cab I think next year but they'll stay with the steel box.

As easily as the aluminum trucks are declared totaled, the insurance companies have got to raise the rates. I guess time will tell.
