I want to start a new thread about nothing, and let it run...

With talk of downsizing and bins and discarding of projects;
Whatever I build I try to build it with 1/4-20 bolts.
These are my 1/4-20 bottle-bins.
The bottles have large 2"ish holes cut in the shoulder using a soldering iron so the edges aren't sharp. The holes are to load and unload contents.

That is my 1/4-20 field box. It has one of every type 7/16 wrench I could find, and some I've made(some 1/4-20 bolts have 1/2" heads. This seems to be a 1/4-20 thing only as all other bolts are more standard)

Those are javelina today.
They are not 1/4-20 as far as I know.

I did not know..
Are we really free :)
A 2023 study from the Mozilla Foundation found that 75% of car brands said they can share or sell driver data, and 84% of car brands said they can share driver's personal data, with 76% saying they can sell your personal data.

That has privacy experts warning that people's own cars are the most heavily surveilled part of their day-to-day lives.

Getting my Palazzo smog tested today by a mobile guy. My Palazzo is a 2013, but the chassis build is a 2012. Because of that, I have to open the bottom of the bed to get to the engine hatch. There is a tag on the front he has to read. The test software does not work with a 2012 built chassis. Go figure. My wife has to drive since I cannot for at least 2.5 months more. Do to the 2012 chassis, the costs is $300 or more. The reader software only works with 2013 chassis build and newer. It would have been $250. CARB treats all RV diesel owners like truck fleet commercial companies.

Well I did all the work so the mobile tester only charged me the $250.00. Cheaper to drive to a testing station, but I cannot drive and my wife cannot drive the RV. She is just getting used to driving her car again.

Tap the menu icon (hamburger icon at upper left... three stacked bars). At the bottom you'll see "Install the app" with a button to the right.
Doesn't look any different than on the browser to me. And it doesn't change to landscape on my Android phone. Is yours an iPhone?

I didn't install the app. I'm just using the browser on Android. I just happened to find the button when poking around in the menu. Switches to landscape fine on my Android phone, but it's like looking through mini-blinds in landscape.

Landscape also allows you to see “signature line” on each post.
In the previous version, I preferred viewing on my iPhone in “desktop” view. Allowed all the features to be seen.
However, it’s no longer available in the new format.
So I downloaded the App and view in landscape.
Oh well…

Browser landscape on mine shows the signature line, and also displays more options in the reply box, like emojis, paragraph options, etc. Unfortunately (on my phone) in landscape most of the reply box gets obscured by the on-screen keyboard and ads.

I clicked on the download app however it didn't seem to download anything but the shortcut. works well though
It looked that way to me as well as it put a "shortcut" on the desktop. But if you scroll down your APPs, you should see the actual APP.

In the APP and browser, turning to landscape mode just widens the mobile view allowing more elements to be visible. In browsers you can actually tell the browser to display the desktop site, but things will be so small you will have to zoom in to use it.

It hit me this morning that it has been 25 years since the Y2K debacle. Where does the time go? Seems like yesterday we were talking about gloom and doom when the century rolled over.

Hey Duck! Do you need these to complete your collection? Brand New in box genuine IBM box of 10 cleaning disks for 8" floppy drives.

Cleaning out some filing cabinets in the top of my shop.

I won't be posting as much as I used to.
My detractors can walk the 1000ft to get a picture for some newb who needs to know where their headlights are located on the rv they've owned for four years.

And
I made a new years resolution to finish a book a week.
So far it's been four weeks and I've completed four books.

That's a LOT of coloring and my hand is pretty tired but I'm really committed.
